Principles on Point of Sale Disclosure: consultation report -15/02/10

The IBFed is broadly supportive of the draft IOSCO principles put up for consultation. They are: (i) mindful of the need to ensure that disclosures for retail investors are effective; (ii) consistent with the existing disclosure requirements and modes of delivery in IOSCO jurisdictions; and (iii) cognisant of the special challenges faced by regulators.
