IBFed, The Institute of International Finance, and  The Joint Associations Committee on Retail Structured Products ('the Associations') have jointly written (letter, annex 1, annex 2) to IOSCO on the Suitability Requirements for Market Intermediaries  in Relation to Investors. The Associations are determined to engage in the most constructive and reasonable way possible on the issue both in offering observations to IOSCO and in acting to promote industry sound practice.
